Taking The Train to Santa's Workshop

Train Departs from OERM on December 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 ,18

By Faith Mellinger December 9, 2016

Recently we took a very special train ride. For my kids, who have never rid on a train (other than the Metro), it was quite an experience - and the special destination was just part of the fun. So where did we end up? In Santa's Workshop!

That's right. Our special train departed from the Orange Empire Rail Museum and ended up inside Santa's Workshop where the kids got to take pictures with santa, make their own ornaments and do other crafts. Before our departure we enjoyed complimentary hot chocolate, popcorn and a few other sweet treats.

My five-year-old LOVED it and I definitely recommend the day-trip adventure for those with kids under 7 (my older two were pretty sure Santa needed a bigger workshop - uh oh!). So grab your conductor hat and take a ride on the Santa train.
