Nutcracker Performances In & Around Pasadena
Performances of the season's favorite show, The Nutcracker can be found throughout the month of December.
1) Lineage Dance presents The Nutcracker Tea in partnership with the Colburn School - sip tea from dainty cups, sample tea sandwiches and scones, frost your own cupcake, decorate an enchanted gingerbread house.

2) Red Chair Children's Production Company will present its 5th annual "The Nutcracker" ballet
WHEN: Sunday, December 12; 1:00 pm matinee; 6:30 pm evening

COST: Show tickets are $18, $24 and $28. Matinee Meet & Greet photo op, $5 Land of Sweets dessert bar tickets are $15.

3) Pasadena Dance Theater presents the Nutcracker 2010 at two locations: San Gabriel Mission & Pasadena Playhouse

4) The Long Beach Ballet presents the 28th anniversary of David Wilcox's internationally acclaimed production of The Nutcracker. This is has been one of the area's favorite productions of the ballet with special effects, family-oriented, & more.

5) The Los Angeles Ballet (LAB) welcomes guest artist Rainer Krenstetter, Soloist with Staatsballett Berlin to this year's production, who will dance the lead role of the Prince Cavalier at select shows during The Nutcracker season. Returning for its second season, the Neary-Christensen choreographed The Nutcracker features a unique Southern California flair which permeates the entire production, from sets and costumes to choreography and storyline, and provides a dynamic framework for exquisite dancing by the LAB ensemble.
