Guess Who? Series Book Review

By Faith Mellinger October 23, 2014
This week is the book fair at my kids school. In addition they are having a book report contest (if they get at least 1,000 reports turned in the whole school gets a pajama party). I just started reading Wingmen and Masterminds (a definite review to come for this one). We are surrounded by books. Which is great because books are awesome.

In the Guess Who Series (we read Guess Who Zoo, Guess Who Farm, and Guess Who Neighborhood) children don't just read - they interact. Each page brings a whole new character. The rhymes are witty and leave the kids giggling out their answers.

Although written for children ages 2-6 the depth of the riddles will probably keep even older children entertained. From a smiling postman to a zookeeper who lost his keys the author attempts to not only amuse the little one's but to also recapture memories of the parents and grandparents reading the stories.

The books can be ordered directly from the Guess Who Zoo website for $14.95 (and are also available on Amazon). Currently there is a discount code GWZ for 20% off single books and cds and GWZPLUS for 30% off bundles.

I saw a great idea on Pinterest for a book advent calendar - the Guess Who series would be a great addition - and you'd have three days down.

I received copies of the books for the purpose of this review but the opinions expressed in this article are my own. #PasadenaMacKidCA #Review
