Get Ready to Blast Off With Miles From Tomorrowland

The New Series Airs Friday, February 6 at 9 a.m.

Meet Miles. He's a space adventurer who's always ready for action and the star of your kids new favorite show. He blasts through the universe with his best friend, Merc ( a robo-ostrich who is always ready for adventure and who would do anything to keep Miles safe). The Stello-sphere is the spaceship where Miles, his dad (Leo), mom (Phoebe) and sister (Loretta) live in outer space. You get to join them as they explore the galaxy together.

We recently hosted several local families at The Little Gym in La Canada to get a sneak peak at the new show and I must say the kids were captivated. A few of them watched the episode more than once - and didn't want to leave. I have no doubt the Callisto family will soon be a part of your family too. I wouldn't worry however- the Callisto's are a role model we want. They are always willing to help each other out and the sibling support is just the kind of relationship we want our children to have.

I know the kids at our premier party have their parents setting the DVRs for Friday, February 6 at 9 a.m. (because I reminded them to like 5 times) to catch all 4 of the back-to-back episodes and you should too.

I feel like we shouldn't keep all the space-tastic fun to ourselves so f you want to create your own Blastastic Viewing party here are a few ideas from our preview event:

  • Have space themed food (we had star and rocketship shaped kid friendly sandwiches, rocketship fruit skewers, star crackers, silver dusted cake pops and rocket ship cookies)
  • Use the printables from Disney Junior to give the kids something to keep them busy before the show starts. Here are direct links to the Word Search and Blast off Space Ship
  • Create some space decor - put up stars, planets or space pictures. We got our telescope out and added some floating planets. We even used some boxes and tin foil to create our own rocketship adventure.

You can check out the amazing pictures from Elizabeth Campbell Photography that truly capture our stellar event for some ideas: to see the pictures go the the "PARTY: Miles from Tomorrowland" link on here tinyurl.com/elizabethcampbellphotography.

The kids also had a fabulous time exploring
The Little Gym in La Canada and getting their space legs ready for adventure. A few lucky viewers even won gift certificates to Paint N' Play so they can create something more even after the event.

Macaroni Kid Pasadena was sent a DVD of the Premiere Episode to preview at our party.  Disney Junior also sent promotional materials and monetary compensation for the purpose of the review.  The thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own.
