It's that time of year and the elves are hard at work. The Celebration Sign Ninjas have a fun, pandemic friendly way to spread some holiday cheer.
The ninjas come in the dark and set up the signs (and leave behind a note and some candy canes) for you to enjoy for one day. Then the elves get whisked away to another location. Signs are available now until December 24th.
While people have not been able to celebrate big events as usual in the past few months, two local moms have started a new business to help keep those milestones special. Celebration Sign Ninjas is a new 24-hour yard greeting service that delivers customized messages to residents’ homes to celebrate special occasions.
The owners, Sarah Edgington and Faith Mellinger, saw a need when they were looking for signs earlier this year and had trouble finding a similar business that serviced their area. That’s when the idea to create their own business came to fruition. “When we had birthdays to celebrate during the pandemic,” said Mellinger, “we wanted a way to make them extra special. Celebration Sign Ninjas allows us to take those special life events and make them unique and memorable!”
Customers book through their website www.celebrationsignninjas.com and Celebration Sign Ninjas delivers and sets up the signs at their home or business. The duo has been helping commemorate many occasions including a long-time volunteer thank-you, the first day of school, birthdays, a college send-off and a very special congratulations to MUSD’s Teacher of The Year.
As Covid19 has required us to get more creative with the way we celebrate - Celebration Sign Ninjas has stepped in to fill the gap. With Halloween looking different than any other year this is just another way they've found to keep some fun in the holiday and the spirit of a tradition alive.
