Our Incredible Staff:

Jana Souza is a Native Hawaiian singer, actress, and dancer born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii. She attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York and Los Angeles where she gained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts. After graduating she spent the next five years performing around the world. From Theme Parks to Cruise Lines, to National Tours, Jana has accomplished a lot. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2016, Jana has performed all over Los Angeles with multiple theatre companies. Currently, she spends most of her time teaching and performing at the Lineage Performing Arts Center as well as with "PHNX" an acapella pop group, "The Holly Belles," and "The Satin Dollz" international pin-up performance group.

Tonoccus McClain is a prolific and versatile entertainer based in Los Angeles. He performed in The Lion King musical for six years and has done vocal work for over 50 TV show and film soundtracks, including Glee, King Kong, Avatar, Smallfoot, and Lightyear. Some other highlights and noteworthy projects include performing in live Academy Awards telecasts, being a featured soloist in the film First Daughter and The Lion King (2019), “Beauty and the Beast LIVE” at the Hollywood Bowl, “Game of Thrones LIVE'' at the LA Forum, and performing at the Disneyland Resort. Tonoccus has also performed internationally with acapella group “MPACT'' throughout South Korea, the “World Youth Choir” and Albert McNeil’s “Jubilee Singers” in Spain, in “The Little Mermaid LIVE” in Taiwan, and in “West Side Story” in Finland. He has many other credits, including as a member of the LA Master Chorale, the comedy Doo-wop acappella quartet “The Alley Cats,” the pop/gospel group “Raise!”, and the “Popera Men,” as well as being an anchor/reporter for Channel One News and performing in radio dramas. As a teaching artist, Tonoccus was invited to teach a lecturing tour across China in the Fall of 2019. The School for International Art (SIA) invited him to visit all of their Beijing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai campuses and work with their graduating seniors on how to perform musical theater and with connection and how to engage your audience with vulnerability and emotion. He also graduated from the Entertainment Community Fund’s Teaching Artist Training Program cohort, a highly selective program that invites and vets artists wishing to develop the skills required to become more effective teaching artists. The program equips each member with the latest insights into social and emotional learning, the arts education ecosystem in California, and responsive yet respectful techniques for classroom management, and provides ample opportunities to observe classrooms in Los Angeles County. He also gained a working knowledge of the California Standards and how to weave them into his lessons.
