Take A Colorful Nature Walk


Macaroni Fun

Make your next walk a hunt for specific colors (try this any time of the year). This is an easy project that can be made very simple as your time/ materials/ patience demands.

You’ll need:
  • An empty egg carton
  • Paints and paintbrushes
Paint the inside of an egg carton different colors. Encourage the children to mix colors together or add black or white to create different hues.

C.I.C.L.E., an L.A. based bike advocacy non-profit, and the City of Pasadena present a week-long showcase for most skill levels and age groups to promote bicycling as a safe and sustainable mode of transportation.

Friday, May 17 through Saturday, May 18 - 33rd Annual Bandorama @ Caltech's Ramo Auditorium

The 33rd annual Bandorama features the Caltech-Occidental Concert Band & the Caltech Jazz Bands directed by William Bing. The concert band half of the program will feature music from "Les Miserables", "On the Town", "West Side Story" & "Candide".  The jazz band will perform music from the Count Basie Library as well as  contemporary sounds from local composers.
