Do Something Great Day!

By Faith Mellinger September 18, 2014
On Saturday, September 20, 2014, Macaroni Kid Pasadena, Macaroni Kid Arcadia and Macaroni Kid Orange-Tustin are joining more than fifty Macaroni Kid Publishers to Make a Difference in their communities. Please join us this Saturday at Southern California Children's Museum Touch a Truck Event as we help kids and adults make cards, letters and pictures to send to our troops through Operation Gratitude.

We worked hard to come up with an idea that supported the efforts of Southern California Children's Museum at this awesome event, and was a way to give back. We couldn't think of a more fitting Macaroni partnership than crafting for the drivers of many of the very trucks thousands of kids will be checking out this weekend.

"I'm thrilled to be doing something to make a difference in the Pasadena area while still being part of the larger national movement.

"For years, we've sought to harness the power of Macaroni Kid for the perfect national not-for-profit. This May, I realized that we were going about it all wrong ... Macaroni Kid is about empowering local communities. So we put the call out and invited our local Macaroni Kid Publishers to Make a Difference in their unique way in their unique communities. And more than fifty answered" explains Chief Macaroni Mom Joyce Shulman.

We want you to join us in this great effort. So stop by the Macaroni Kid table Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and help us Do Something Great! #MKDoSomethingGreat
