Oh Summer..."I love the idea of summer, and sun, and all things hot!...just imagine how much cooler I'll be in summer." Olaf has the right idea - well unless you're a snowman of course. It's time to plan all those summer adventures and we are starting a featured summer fun guide to get you rolling. We have a few favorite camps to jump start the list:
Camps for the Littles
The Little Gym of La Canada offers Serious Fun all summer long.
Classes are available for children age 4 months to 12 years June 1 through August 16, while super flexible Summer Camps are available for the family that will be travelling or planning other activities. Super Kids Quest Camps offer a different adventure every day for kids age 3 to 8 with LEGO Duplo activities integrated into the curriculum, and are available for whatever days you choose Monday through Friday 10AM - 1PM. Skill Thrill Camps focus on specific gymnastics skills for the grade school child age 6 to 12 and are offered Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 1:30-4:30 PM. Camps for Girls 3rd Grade - Middle School 
Westridge Summer Program for Girls
Westridge School is excited to offer an innovative summer program providing an opportunity for girls to hone scientific and technical skills, develop passions, and engage in their communities and beyond. In Creative Coding, girls entering grades 3 through 6 build and program robots, work with 3D printers and learn active coding and the fundamentals of object-oriented programming. Service, Science and Environmental Leadership immerses girls entering grades 7 and 8 in the world of biodiversity, doing lab work on local ecosystems and getting involved in environmental restoration and community gardening.

Institute for Educational Advancement Summer Academy
The Pasadena-based Institute for Educational Advancement (IEA) allows elementary and middle school students to explore academic subjects taught at advanced levels by local specialists in their fields. IEA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing programs that help gifted children balance intellectual ability with social, emotional, physical and spiritual growth. Independent of government funding, IEA gives students the tools to work toward actualizing their full intellectual and personal potential in supportive learning environments.
